Laura is a licensed physical therapist and owner of Clover Physical Therapy.
Laura received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Simmons College in 2012 and her B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2006. She has worked in a variety of settings with both adult and pediatric populations, including schools, acute rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and adult day habilitation programs. Laura has been focusing on providing services for the pediatric population, but enjoys working with clients of all ages.
She has experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses, from developmental delays, genetic syndromes to neurological disorders, and ages from 2 years old onward. She is committed to providing client centered care and focusing on goals that are most important to a client and their family.
Laura has been combining her passion for physical therapy and lifelong love of horses since 2016 with the use of equine movement as a treatment tool. She has been amazed at how powerful this tool can be to help clients achieve functional goals and has pursued extensive training in the use of hippotherapy. Laura is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist (HPCS), PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and licensed Massachusetts riding instructor.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), APTA’s Pediatric Section and the American Hippotherapy Association (AHA).
Laura was born and raised in Northern Virginia, but has been calling Massachusetts her home since 2007. She is loving raising her family in New England. She can usually be found chasing her 2 young boys, trying a new recipe, outside with her family working on “the Homestead,” or spending time with friends.
